“In Baptism, we are called to proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed; serve all people following the example of Jesus; and strive for justice and peace in all the earth” (ELCA Baptismal Liturgy). To help our children and youth live into this covenant, we provide them with service opportunities. These include “Adopt a Family” at Christmas, our yearly food packing event, blessing bags and hospital activity bags, hygiene kits for our partnership elementary school, as well as mission trips to other communities where we serve alongside local volunteers serving their neighbors in need.
