Paul expresses concerns as he anticipates a third visit to Corinth. A tentmaker, Paul is self-supporting and has given freely of himself on behalf of the Corinthians; nevertheless, they are questioning his call as an apostle and are ignoring his warnings and calls to repentance. Consider 12:15. Do we take God’s infinite love and grace lightly? Ponder 12:19. Paul’s intent was to strengthen the Corinthians in their faith. Do we long to bless and strengthen others during Advent, and always? ![]()
